Wow, what a month, some great new venues and incredible parties & weddings!
One of my weddings in September introduced me to a beautiful new venue just outside the village of Stradbally in County Laois .
The setting is the stunning grounds of Ballintubbert House & gardens and the clever guys who brought you LPM Bohemia Tenting have done a beautiful job of incorporating the existing amenities with some ingenious and spectacular tenting & marquees.
Relaxed & laid back, yet highly professional creates a unique blend of and hospitality and warmth which I myself experienced. Ballintubbert is certainly on my “one to watch” venues list for 2016 and beyond.
Ballintubbert is an exquisite and lovingly restored country home nestled in a valley within an hour’s drive of Dublin and may other parts of Ireland & is also ideal for party guests flying in from abroad.
Former home of poet laureate C. Day-Lewis and of actors John Hurt and Sebastian Shaw, this fascinating manor house is surrounded by its own horticultural legacy and is the ultimate festival-style wedding and events venue.
The settlement dates back to 1540 and is an on-going work of art with 14 acres of continuously evolving formal gardens and formidable water features.
Creative tent and event aficionados LPM Bohemia offer these ‘tented pleasure gardens’ along with the main house and further accommodation on an exclusive rental basis.
With a myriad of boutique glamping options as well as its own church, humanist and civil partnerships within the grounds, Ballintubbert is a truly comprehensive venue.
Ballintubbert prides itself on being a uniquely relaxed venue with a particularly welcoming atmosphere to ensure your celebrations are memorable beyond expectation.
